Ping Zero 32 Wrap Up

[Major Havoc]

Well another Ping Zero down, PZC had 4 competitons organised.
Blur, CODMW2, Burnout Paradise, and the old skool “Galaga” competition.

Blur
Blur was a new game for Ping Zero, we tried many different modes before deciding on Team Racing, which made for some close racing,
the teams were random making it difficult to choose a clear winner. With the team racing being 10 v 10 there was some serious carnage
and it was difficult to come up with a strategy. Most people’s strategy was drive as fast as you could, get as many power ups as possible
firing them in all directions.

CODMW2
CODMW2 was big at Ping Zero 32 with more than 40 people playing in the Ping Zero competition lobby. It made for some great competition with
more people playing. Most people got to level 15, with a few getting over level 30. Some people had 12 hours game play time just at PZ !
Most of the games were Ground War that way we could have the maximum amount of players in a server. With the CODMW2 mod there
was a lot of Care Package Nukes, hopefully something we can get rid of before the next LAN. It made for some interesting games.
The stimulus DLC was also played by a few, the new maps made for some close games.

Burnout Paradise
Burnout Paradise Party Mode, once again the grandstand got some use with 2 games running simultaneously. The top 4 from each game,
qualifying for the grand final. There were some players that have never played Burnout before which made for some interesting rounds,
and a few laughs. There were also a few Vets there also, this being the 4th time we have run this competition, watch out for it at PZ33.

Galaga
Old Skool competition was beat Major Havocs score at Galaga. TBALLZ was the only player to beat my score.

There were a few people in there playing, trying to climb there way up the Ping Zero Ladder.
Will have new maps for the next Ping Zero
